Dear Liisa
Emmanuel
Presence is
A better word
For love
Than any other word
We know.
Presence is
An answer to the plea -
Stand by me.
Presence is the gift
That parents give their children
And lovers give their lovers
And friends offer one another.
Of all our human riches
Nothing could be greater
Than the offering of ourselves
to be there for each other.
Presence makes us all
Insiders
Inside each other's lives.
Presence, the presence of God right here and now, is what we celebrate today. May the presence of Emmanuel, God-with-us, sustain you in the coming year.
In joyful hope,
Andrew and Bridget

Celebration of Ingrid Pierson
This Sunday Dec. 27 after worship, we will have a celebration of the music ministry of our organist Ingrid Pierson. We hope everyone will come and enjoy the cake and wish Ingrid well in her new position as Director of Music at a church in Cedarburg. If you'd like to contribute to a thank you gift, you can either bring a check(made out to Plymouth) or cash to either of the Christmas services, or put it in the Sunday offering, and mark the check or envelope "gift for Ingrid." We'll put them together and give her one check, with our thanks for many years of wonderful music.
Epiphany Festival
Plan now to come to Plymouth on Wed. January 6, for a 5:30 pm potluck supper, and a 6:15pm Epiphany Service, when we will celebrate the Three Wise Men following the star to Jesus in Bethlehem. The service will be in the gym.
